Earth Week at PCTC is coming up April 19-25! All are welcome to join in on the events we have planned!
All Ages Hike: Sunday, April 19, 3pm
Meet at the Old Mission Point Lighthouse Parking Lot at 3pm for a hike starting with a short devotion from Pastor Julie’s Northern Michigan Hiking Devotional Series. We’ll complete a 2 mile hike, but there are many variations to make it longer or shorter!
Adopt-A-Road Cleanup: Wednesday, April 22nd, 10am
Meet at Denny and Nancy Fitzpatrick’s to clean our stretch of road. Bring a brown bag lunch and stay for some fellowship when we’re done. Please sign up at the kiosk.
Wednesday Night Connection: The Art of Vinemaking April 22 5:30pm dinner, 6:30pm program
Get a preview version ahead of The Art of Vinemaking retreat! Led by Rev. Bette Dickinson, this will be a contemplative, embodied exploration of John 15 through the lens of real-life vine cultivation.
MakerFest: April 25, 10am-2pm
This event is hosted by the Traverse Area District Library. Stop by the PCTC table where we’ll be offering a craft and info on our church’s Earth Care activities and VBS! There are over 40 other organizations who will also be tabling at this event and offering lots of fun activities! https://www.tadl.org/makerfest2026
Spring Clean-Up: Saturday, April 25, 9AM – Noon
Join us outside as we care for the church grounds together! There’s something for everyone. Bring tools if you have them! Sign up at the kiosk. Rain/snow date is Sunday after worship, April 26.
